Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s Medical Condition Resurfaces; Actress Takes A Six Month Sabbatical To Treat Her Health- REPORTS

Pan-Indian actress Samnatha Ruth Prabhu is one of the most bankable actresses in the entertainment industry. Despite being diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease Myositis in 2022, she has been dedicatedly working towards finishing her work commitments. Earlier, this month reports were rife that she will be taking a year-long break from her career to concentrate on her health. While her manager had rubbished the rumours, it is now being reported that her health condition has resurfaced.
According to a report by BollywoodShaadis, her health condition is quite serious and requires immediate medical attention. The portal further stated that she is determined to cure her illness no matter how long it takes to heal. She will be going on a six-month sabbatical from acting and other work commitments, starting this month. Quoting the source by Zoom Entertainment, they wrote, “Starting from July, Sam is taking a six months break for a focused remedial routine. It was earlier reported that the 36-year-old actress has to go for main treatments and therapy sessions for her condition. She has been planning to go to the US for her treatment. In an earlier interview, when she had opened up about her condition, she had said, “This is probably the worst thing to happen to an actor.” She had explained how at times, she will be puffy, sometimes fat, sometimes sick. On the work front, Samantha was last seen in the mythological drama Shakuntalam, which focuses on the daughter of Menaka and Vishwamitra, the first abandoned child in human history, Shakuntala, her fight for her love King Dushyanta and the repercussions she faces because of the same. The movie failed to impress the audiences and the critics at the box-office. Apart from that, she has Citadel co-starring Varun Dhawan and Kushi alongside Vijay Deverkonda in her pipeline.
